This is an iaido sword, so it does not have a sharpened edge and cannot cut.

This is an older lot of the Iai-do Sword Ouka, sold by several manufacturers in Seki City, the birthplace of iaido swords.
It is an older generation than the currently sold Ouka, with deeper and longer hi (grooves) and a wavy hamon (temper line) rather than a straight one, making the overall specifications more luxurious.
This item was produced before the recent price increases.

The tsuba (hand guard), habaki (blade collar), seppa (spacers), and blade are all firm with no looseness. The koiguchi (scabbard mouth) is also not loose. There are some minor dents on the blade near the monouchi (cutting edge) or slightly below.

It can be used without any issues for iaido practice.
The overall balance is excellent, and personally, I found it to be as easy to handle as the Igarashi sword from Noushodo.
Recommended for a wide range of users, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

As a characteristic of the older lot, it features a Muramasa-style double wavy hamon, which is more costly than the current models.
