【High-Quality Authentic Iai Sword】Iai Practice Sword, 2 Shaku 4 Sun Hardened Blade, Marujyu Iron Tsuba, Beautiful Condition

Thank you for viewing.

This is a practice sword for iaido. It is not a real sword.

The sword stand is for photography purposes and is not included.

There are faint scuffs on the blade, but they are not noticeable. The saya and tsuka are clean with no noticeable scratches or dirt. The condition is good, the construction is solid, and there is no rattling of the tsuba, so it can be used without any problems for iaido practice or performance.

*This sword uses artificial samegawa (rayskin) instead of genuine rayskin strips. Genuine rayskin can become discolored and stained over time, but artificial samegawa can be kept clean with liquids like ethanol and cotton swabs. For this reason, more and more workshops are using artificial samegawa. Of course, the choice between genuine and artificial samegawa is up to the user's preference.

Blade: Iai-style construction made of special hard alloy, with a groove, irregular wavy temper line, slightly thin blade
Tsuka: Wooden, artificial samegawa, pure cotton black tsuka-ito twisted wrap
Fuchi-Kashira/Menuki: Dragon motif
Tsuba: Round iron tsuba
Saya: Black Ishime-nuri (stone-like finish), pure black cotton sageo

Overall length: 102 cm, Blade length: 73 cm (excluding habaki)
Tsuka length: 24 cm, Weight without saya: 920g, Curvature: 1.8 cm
Accessories: High-quality sword bag (new and unused)

⚠️This is a used item. There may be scratches or dirt that I have not noticed. Thank you for your understanding.
