These are add-on pockets that attach to shoulder straps.
They can be considered the prototype for the current Mystery Ranch Wingman model.
These are valuable discontinued items made in Bozeman, the hometown of Dana Design and Mystery Ranch.

The Dry Rib is a standard pocket.
The inner coating is peeling.
There is a slight smell from the coating, but personally, I don't find it bothersome.

The Bottle Rib has a drainage mesh at the bottom (Photo 6).
It's suitable for carrying a bottle, but also good for items you want to access quickly while walking, such as a smartphone or snacks.
There is padding on the body side (Photo 7).
Because of this, the drawcord at the opening cannot be fully closed (Photo 18).

I used to attach them to each side and connect them with the interlocking buckles (Photos 15, 16).
*If you plan to use them individually, please make your own adjustments.

I've forgotten the capacity specifications, but for reference, photos 5, 8, and 9 show them with rain pants inside.

Also, to make them easier for me to use, I cut notches into the parts that pass through the shoulder strap to make them easier to attach and detach.
When I was actually using them, there was no risk of them breaking (Photos 14, 19).
