PERFECT SWEET AND RUSSET POTATO NO MORE PAPER TOWELS TO MICROWAVE YOUR POTATOES Fabric potato pouch is designed to cook potatoes quickly in the microwave, creating a steaming environment for a moist, fluffy result. Here are the general steps and timing for cooking two potatoes in a fabric bag: Instructions for 2 M/L Potatoes Prepare the Potatoes: Thoroughly wash and dry 2 potatoes. It is generally not necessary to prick the potatoes when using the pouch, as the bag itself helps release moisture, but some users still prefer to. Place in Bag: Place the two potatoes inside the fabric potato bag. Fold the flap or end of the bag over to close it completely. Microwave in Intervals: Place the bag in the microwave. Start by microwaving on High for 4 minutes. Carefully remove the pouch (it will be hot and steamy!) and check the potatoes by gently squeezing or using a towel to open the bag and poke them with a fork. If they are not soft, return them to the microwave. Continue cooking in 1-2 minute increments until the potatoes are soft all the way through. Approximate Total Cooking Time For 2 medium-sized Russet potatoes, the total time is typically 6 to 8 minutes (e.g., two 4-minute intervals). For 2 larger potatoes, the total time may be closer to 8 to 10 minutes. Important Safety & Usage Notes: Only use in a microwave.
