Collectible vintage Gibson Art Glass owl vase. This piece features a striking cobalt blue base glass layered with a vibrant, iridescent carnival glass finish that flashes brilliant shades of gold, green, pink, and purple depending on the light.This is an early, highly desirable piece from the West Virginia studio. The bottom of the vase is clearly hand-incised with the maker's signature Gibson and the production year 72. Excellent vintage condition. The glass retains a brilliant, high-gloss luster with vivid iridescence. No chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs. The pointed ears and base rim are perfectly intact.
