【Product Description】 • This is a Kurotomesode (black formal kimono for married women) featuring only Yuzen dyeing, without gold leaf or embroidery. • It has a maker's seal, but the name is unknown. • Cranes are depicted on the back, and the back also has intricate patterns. • Although not easily noticeable from a distance, there is a slight variation in the darkness of the black around the five crests. Before tailoring a Kurotomesode, there are five areas on the fabric (ishimochi) that are left white for crest application. If the entire crest becomes smaller due to reasons such as the absence of a circle around the crest, the white ishimochi remains, and that area is dyed black.
