The artwork itself is framed, and while there are no visible scratches or stains, it has been displayed in a Japanese-style room for a long time, so the frame is not new.
Additionally, due to rust on the fastening hardware on the back of the frame (as shown in the last image), it is listed as slightly scratched and dirty.
