The navy blue parts are peeling in several places. (Photos 5-7)
I believe it can be repaired with glue.
Each rib of the umbrella is solidly constructed, and it opens and closes smoothly.
It would also match a Japanese-style room as an interior decoration as is.
It was at my parents' house, so I don't know when it was made.
