Okajima Seikō's Original "Birds on a Willow Tree" Hanging Scroll ~ Late Edo Period Painter

This is a stylish work depicting clouds in the Rinpa style with vivid gold paint, showing small birds perched on a willow tree. The box is not the original, but the lid is inscribed with Seiko Okajima, Willow and Small Birds. Upon close inspection near the bottom of the mounting (right scroll), a small tear can be seen. This is due to age and only affects the surface, not penetrating to the back, so please rest assured that it does not affect use. The overall condition is good.

Paper scroll. Natural material scroll ends.

Length 127 cm, Width 44.8 cm (including mounting)
