Vtg Westmoreland Lilac Opalescent High Hob Lidded Sugar Bowl Coquette Fairycore

Striking lidded sugar bowl is a RARE piece of American glassware history, meticulously crafted by the renowned Westmoreland Glass Co. Featuring their iconic High Hob (AKA High Knob) Pattern No. 1000, this piece showcases a translucent lilac purple colorway that shifts softly to a milky white, opalescent ruffled rim. Produced during the mid century era (circa 1960s/1970s), this double handled bowl with its matching lid, which is beautifully crowned by a geometric, hexagonal star knob. The sugar bowl and lid are in beautiful, sound vtg condition with brilliant color clarity and NO structural damage, chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs along the ruffled rims, handles or base. To ensure complete accuracy for collectors, there are two minor, very light surface scratches on the inside lower portion of the bowl from gentle past use. These are entirely superficial, do not penetrate into the glass.
