Arita ware
This is an obi-dome (kimono sash ornament) by Sekizan Ninomiya, made in Arita ware. It features an elegant design with cranes drawn in sometsuke (underglaze blue) on a soft celadon base. Cranes are auspicious motifs symbolizing longevity and good fortune, and can be used as an accent for Japanese attire. It shows little signs of use and is in beautiful condition overall, with no dirt or damage. The image with a model is for illustrative purposes only.
