RARE 1997 Great American Products GAP #4414 3D Coffin Skull Pewter Belt Buckle

Vintage 1997 Great American Products (GAP) #4414 coffin belt buckle, cast in solid fine pewter and featuring an unusually elaborate three-dimensional gothic design.  This is much more than a flat coffin-shaped buckle. The piece is constructed as a fully dimensional miniature coffin/casket with a working hinged lid. The lid opens to reveal a sculpted coffin interior, while the exterior features detailed faux wood-grain texture throughout.  The reverse is especially striking, with dimensional skulls and skull-and-crossbones decoration, along with the original belt loop and fastening hardware. Despite extensive searching, I have been unable to locate another example of this exact model currently offered on the secondary market.  A fantastic piece of late-1990s gothic design and an unusual collectible for fans of vintage belt buckles, goth and horror memorabilia, skulls, coffins, biker accessories, Halloween collectibles, or Great American Products buckles.
