This is a masterpiece rod from Nagao (Nagao Saku), a renowned craftsman of Edo Wagashi (traditional Japanese fishing rods).
It was acquired from a trusted antique dealer as unused.

Drawn to its dignified presence, I cherished it as a display piece for some time, keeping it in an environment protected from humidity and direct sunlight. Now, for the purpose of organizing my collection, I have decided to pass it on to someone who will treasure it.
