Description
Goggles are not included.
This is a kit for attaching an anti-fog fan to goggles.
Product Contents: Handy fan with integrated battery, parts to secure the fan to the goggle strap, fan outlet part, goggle inlet part, silicone tube.
Can be attached by simply drilling holes in your goggles. In my case, I was able to secure it just by pushing it in without using any adhesive or anything, and I haven't had any issues with it shifting or coming off. It seems best to make the holes slightly smaller and push it in. The space required on the goggle side is approximately 20mm in width and 14mm in depth. This part will go inside the goggles. For reference, my goggles are TRUSCO safety goggles, which cost around 1000 yen.
This is intended for airsoft use, but it is not strong enough to withstand BB impacts. The strength against BBs has not been tested.
It is made by combining 3D printed parts, a silicone tube, and a commercially available handy fan. I made this for my own use after much trial and error, and the results were so amazing that I decided to try selling it on Mercari.
The fan has 4 speed settings, but I have only ever used the lowest setting.
The anti-fog effect is tremendous. Even when I was sweating profusely during airsoft games in the middle of winter, my goggles did not fog up at all even on the lowest fan speed. According to the handy fan's description, it can be used for 8 hours in this state. I have used it several times, but I turn it off during breaks, and I have never run out of battery during a full day of play.
The sound is audible in indoor fields during close-quarters combat. I usually turn it off during games when playing indoors with a small group, and turn it on when I get hit. Visibility is restored quickly even from a fogged state. The power switch is on the bottom of the orange part and can be turned on/off with a long press. It is easy to operate even with gloves on.
The outlet part on the lens side is designed to direct the airflow to the left and right sides of the lens, so it does not blow directly into the eyes.
This product is made with new parts and a new fan, separate from the one I use myself.
