Description
The IS-TWL-DEBUGGER hardware unit does not have a CAPTURE OPTION, so video output is not possible.
Source-level debugging of self-developed programs (C/C++) is possible, but source-level debugging of commercially available software is not.
The following operating environment is required to use the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER:
- PC/AT compatible machine
- OS: Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later) (32-bit version)
- PC must support USB. USB 2.0 (recommended)
- CD-ROM drive: A drive capable of reading CD-ROMs is required for installation.
- Display: A display with XGA (1024x768 dots) or higher resolution is required.
For debugging self-developed programs, the following three items are necessary:
- IS-TWL-DEBUGGER (software & hardware)
- TWL-SDK
- Cygwin
The TWL-SDK is not included with this product.
Commercially available software for both Nintendo DS/DSi or software exclusively for Nintendo DSi will not run on the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER.
The system menu on the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER hardware controller is in English, but Japanese Nintendo DS software will run.
Operation of overseas Nintendo DS software has not been confirmed.
We have performed operational checks as much as possible based on the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER tutorial included on the CD, but not all functions have been confirmed.
Operation checks were performed on Windows XP (Service Pack 3) (32-bit version).
The battery has been removed from the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER hardware controller.
The sticker with the serial number on the bottom of the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER hardware controller has been removed.
