Stratocaster Body, Natural, Pre-installed Pickups
66.00 $
Description
This is a natural-colored Stratocaster-style body.
It comes with pickups, wiring, and has been tested for sound output. It also includes a tremolo bridge and springs, so it's ready to play as soon as you attach a neck.
I purchased it used and did some research, and I believe it is likely a body from YAMAHA's SR series from around the 1970s.
The body wood is likely Sen.
I enjoyed its crisp tone when paired with a maple neck, but I'm selling it because I have too many guitars.
The original pickups had very weak output, so I replaced the entire pickguard with new Alnico 5 pickups.
As it is an older item, there are some dings and dents, but being a natural body, they are not too noticeable and can be enjoyed as part of its character.
