This is an extremely rare 18th-century Dutch Arita ware teapot with a bird motif in two locations, featuring a blue and red overglaze enamel and a floral and bird pattern.

With a body diameter of 11cm, similar to the smallest Hirashimizu katakuchi (spouted bowl), it can also be enjoyed as a sake vessel for Japanese sake.

As connoisseurs familiar with contemporary Dutch Arita ware floral and bird pattern sake cups will understand, some sake cups can fetch over 100,000 yen.

For those who may have attended, at an exhibition at the Tokyo Art Club about two years ago, two floral and bird pattern sake cups were sold for 1 million yen and 1.5 million yen respectively. That's how it is.

The box has inscriptions and seals from previous owners, but their identities are unknown. However, it has been carefully passed down through generations.

There is a repaired chip on a part of the lid's knob, and chips on the rim and spout. However, considering it is a colored glazed water pitcher from approximately 250 years ago, this is an excellent condition.

The fact that it still has its original lid is also rare.

Additionally, the box's string is broken, and the string of the shifuku (pouch) is also broken, indicating some wear and tear.

The dimensions are shown in image 2: height 11cm x width 16.5cm x depth (body diameter) approximately 11cm.
