Vintage Luxardo Maraschino Hippo Ceramic Miniature Decanter Bottle Italy 2 Oz

Description
Vintage Girolamo Luxardo figural miniature ceramic decanter in the shape of a hippopotamus, originally containing Luxardo Maraschino liqueur. This unusual Italian advertising bottle retains its original paper labels, including the Luxardo Maraschino label identifying it as a 2 fl. oz. miniature, along with the Metropolitan Liquor Co. importer label. The hippo has a wonderfully quirky hand-finished appearance in mottled black, gray and white. The original paper labels show considerable age-related wear, staining, lifting and losses, which add to its authentic vintage character. Ceramic also shows scattered surface wear. Please see photos closely for condition. Empty bottle/decanter no alcohol included.
