Purchased over 10 years ago. It is lacquered, giving it a luxurious feel and a calm atmosphere. It was used about twice for outdoor tea ceremonies when purchased. After that, it was stored in a closet. I have two of these at home and have decided to sell one. I don't believe there are any particular stains or scratches, but as this is a personal inspection, there may be minor oversights. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things. I will wipe it clean before shipping. Thank you for your consideration.
