About 8.5 tall and 12 in diameter. Nice warm patina. Very good condition. Previous owner put felt on the bottom and added a liner over a glued in base. This authentic, mid-19th-century spun brass bucket features a remarkably crisp, legible maker's stamp on the bottom. It commemorates Hiram Washington Hayden’s revolutionary process of spinning sheet brass, along with the subsequent post-Civil War patent extensions.Historical Markings Stamped on Bottom:H.W.
