Product Description:
This is a magnificent document box made with **Kabazaiku (Cherry Bark Craft)**, a traditional craft from Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture.
Made with generous use of wild cherry bark, it possesses a warmth and substantial feel unique to natural materials.
【Features】
• Natural Luster: The cherry bark, polished by artisans, deepens to an amber hue over time, exuding an antique elegance.
• Functionality: Kabazaiku boasts excellent breathability and moisture resistance, making it ideal for storing calligraphy tools, important documents, or collections.
• Size: (External dimensions: 23.5 cm length x 18 cm width x 3.5 cm height)
【Condition】
As this item has been well-loved, there are signs of age such as scuffs, changes in sheen, and variations in the texture of the interior.
We hope to pass this on to someone who can appreciate the charm of a well-aged craft, unlike anything new.
【Recommended Uses】
While perfect as a suzuribako (inkstone box) for calligraphy, it can also serve as a remote control holder or a small item organizer, instantly adding a refined touch to your living space.
