Restocking is currently undecided. The stove shown in the image is not included.

This is a hand-cranked coffee roaster made by inmates serving time at Matsue Prison.
It has been praised as an excellent product, as it was made under the guidance of professional roasters.
The roaster in the photos is my personal one, but you can feel the thickness of the roasting chamber just by touching it.
You can clearly see that it roasts small amounts of beans thoroughly.

This is a very popular product, and I waited a long time to purchase it.
The item you will receive is the one wrapped in the packaging material shown in the second image.
It did not come with an outer box. I will ship it in a cardboard box of appropriate size.

There is no instruction manual included.
I will excerpt some user reviews from the internet:

According to the instructions, after putting in the green beans, you should rotate it once every second while slowly turning it for 5 minutes for idling, preheating, and warming up...
For Fuji Royal and Union hand-crank roasters, roasting is done without preheating...
Even in mid-winter, they heat up quickly without preheating...
The fact that it requires 5 minutes of preheating despite its small capacity indicates how thick the material of the cylinder part, where the beans go, is...
After preheating, add the green beans.
Keep the heat on high until the first crack...
First crack occurs in less than 5 minutes, then reduce to medium heat...
After the first crack, there should be a slight pause before the second crack...
However, the second crack followed immediately after the first crack...
The second crack started 6.5 minutes after the first crack...
I tried reducing the heat further to low, but 30 seconds later, the beans were already roasted to a deep level...
I quickly transferred them to a colander and cooled them by fanning them with a hand fan while blowing a fan on them...
Weighing the roasted beans, they were 30g.
Moisture loss was 25%.
The roast level went beyond dark roast, French roast, and was close to Italian roast...

It seems that despite its small size, it can produce excellent dark roasted beans.

Please experiment and find your preferred roast level through trial and error.

The cassette stove shown in the photo is my personal, very ordinary cassette stove. It can be used stably with this.
