Miniature Hand Painted Asian Art Framed Set of 2 Signed 3x4 Vintage

Charming set of two vintage miniature hand-painted artworks, beautifully displayed in coordinating ornate gold-tone frames with dark matting. Each tiny painting depicts a wonderfully detailed Asian scene one featuring a traditionally dressed woman along a village street and the other a traditionally dressed figure near the water with boats or fishing structures in the background. The paintings appear to be individually hand painted on a thin paper-like surface, possibly rice paper, although the exact medium is unknown. Each piece also appears to have a small artist signature in the lower right corner that looks like “Matzon.” Artist has not been verified.
