Vintage 10” Hand Decorated Iris Butterfly Ceramic Vase Signed Teri-Crazed Glaze

Beautiful vintage ceramic vase with a softly shaped hexagonal silhouette, creamy ivory ground, and fine all-over glaze crazing. The vase is decorated with elegant iris flowers, foliage, and a butterfly in soft greens, pinks, yellow, and black. The decoration appears to be hand painted and protected beneath an even glossy clear glaze, giving the piece a refined, finished appearance.  The base is impressed Teri, and the side bears a painted character-style inscription and seal. The exact maker, artist, country of origin, and production history have not been identified; both marks are shown clearly in the listing photographs.  The vase has an appealing all-over fine crazed glaze finish that gives it wonderful vintage character. Its botanical artwork and elegant shape work beautifully with Mid-Century, Asian-inspired, cottage, traditional, and eclectic home décor.  A wonderful display piece on its own or filled with fresh or faux flowers.
