Vintage Heavy jacquard woven throw blanket featuring an ornate, traditional damask design. Velvet back. It is designed with thick braided fringe along the borders, decorative corded piping separating the horizontal panels, and structured chevron pleated ends. This heavy, multi-textured weave, velvet accents, and muted gold/bronze color palette were highly popular in traditional, Hollywood Regency, and Old World-style home decor from the late 20th century.
