Product Description

D-VEC was launched in March 2017 by Globeride. Globeride (formerly Daiwa Seiko) is the world's number one comprehensive fishing tackle manufacturer, and from this background, D-VEC proposes fashion that combines the outstanding functionality of Daiwa with a nature-oriented sensibility of feeling the wind and enjoying the rain. Currently, D-VEC's design is handled by Ryota Saito, who became the chief designer in 2021. He is a talented individual who was active at Yohji Yamamoto.
This is a collaboration between D-VEC and Tricker's, a popular British shoe manufacturer. Tricker's was founded in 1829 in Northampton, known as the holy land of British shoes, and is a long-established company that has been awarded the Royal Warrant (by appointment to the British Royal Family).
The base model is the classic country boot, known for its sturdy construction, including a double sole suitable for rough country roads, a storm welt for rain resistance, and Goodyear welt construction.
This model is equipped with a non-slip Hyper D Sole that utilizes Daiwa's technology. This allows you to wear them with confidence on rainy days or in slippery places. Furthermore, the most notable feature is the zip in the center of the shoelace area, making it easy to put on and take off. Therefore, the shoelaces are not crossed left and right, and their decorative role is stronger, but the advantage of easy on and off is greater. A PVC kilt decoration, typical of British shoes, is placed below the zip, and an embroidered logo is on the pull strap. The simple country boots have been updated with added fashionability and functionality. They should appeal to British shoe lovers and those who want to wear boots casually.
