These napkins are brand new from 1968, never used and no age stains. They are from Viana do Castelo.,in Portugal. Production began in 1917 when Gemeniana Branco organized an exhibition that promoted the work of rural seamstresses. This led to the growth of the embroidery industry in the region, providing jobs and income for many women. Four georgeous linen hand embroidered from Portugal White linen with cipper color flowers and stitching around edges.
