Originally purchased in Houston, Texas, this piece is an excellent example of contemporary Raku firing techniques. The rapid cooling process has created a gorgeous, intricate crackle network across the glossy turquoise surface, contrasted by bold, dark smoky carbon drip lines and accents.  FEATURES & DETAILS: • Material: Slip-cast ceramic clay. • Finish: Glossy turquoise/aqua glaze with dark carbon reduction markings and deep crazing. • Dimensions: Approx 2.5 tall (see photos with tape measure for exact scaling). • Base: Hollow, unglazed charcoal-black base (unsigned). • Style: Perfect accent piece for bohemian, modern, mid-century, or southwestern home decor.
