Rigging Spools for Squid Jigs, Direct Squid Rig, 30cm, Set of 2, ④, Yari Squid, Surume Squid

Many people have requested a 30cm squid direct-rigging frame, so we've created one. Of course, it can also be used for mid-deep fishing and for windingブランコ (buranko) rigs.
It's more compact than the 40cm frame, so we think it's easier to use.

Materials:
Wood: Cypress, 15x27x300mm (The height will change from 30mm to 27mm compared to previous listings)
Rod: Stainless steel φ6mm, protruding 100mm or more
The rods are driven in without glue or other adhesives. (This is the key!)
Standard frames use φ5mm stainless steel rods, so these are slightly thicker.

Why other frames are not recommended:
Wood: Cedar or unpainted wood is too soft, causing the rods to loosen and become wobbly quickly.
Rods: Iron rods rust, and aluminum rods are too soft and will bend unless they are considerably thicker. Fixing with wood glue is even worse; the rods will come out when wet.
Stainless steel rods below 5mm or hollow pipes will flex too much under tension.
You can easily feel this by giving a slight tug on frames sold at home centers.
