⭐︎Product Description⭐︎

A luxurious, bound edition with a 63-page booklet containing the complete score. The notation Walcha evokes the era. It's hard to believe that Walcha, who was from the same region as Bach, was blind! His performance is a magnificent rendition that will forever retain its value as a standard, truly possessing the dignity of a yokozuna.
He makes Bach's unique musical structure easy to grasp. To achieve this, he avoids lyrical sentimentality that might be swayed by atmosphere, instead focusing on a clear and solid musical construction that shines through.
It's as if you can glimpse (hear) the profundity of Bach's music and the state of enlightenment that Walcha himself attained.
Walcha lost his eyesight at a young age and was completely blind by the age of 16. It is said that he had the left and right hand parts played separately, memorized them perfectly through absolute pitch, and then combined them into a single piece. It is no exaggeration to say that this is a performance by the hand of God!!!

Unlike magnetic tapes, records do not age or deteriorate over time. If they are in perfect condition, they can be enjoyed with the sound of that era for a long time. Furthermore, with the appreciation of the yen, it has become easier to obtain high-quality European and American vacuum tube audio equipment from half a century ago. When you listen to it, you will be surprised by how good the sound is, realizing that the crude domestic equipment used half a century ago could not reproduce it, and thinking, This good sound was engraved on this early domestic pressing that was left with low ratings!!!
