Rimowa 950.50 "TOPAS" Pilot Case [Large Slim] 33L

RIMOWA 950.50 TOPAS Pilot Case - Discontinued Large Slim 33L

This is a vintage RIMOWA Topas 950.50 Pilot Case (No. 6261). It's a large, slim 33L pilot model with a tall profile. D-rings on the top lid allow for shoulder strap attachment, making it suitable for 1-2 day business trips. This aluminum case is ideal for transporting valuable items such as precious metals, fragile goods, valuables, and precision machinery.

This is a vintage model of the highly popular RIMOWA Topas series pilot case. It features classic SUDHAUS 1422 combination locks on both latches.

The condition is characterized by the inorganic surface typical of aluminum, with some scuff marks, minor scratches, and slight dents. However, it is in clean condition with no significant scratches, scuffs, or dents (subjective assessment). The handle, latches, and bottom studs are all in good working order. The interior is also clean with no noticeable damage. An attachable/detachable aluminum divider is included.

The latches are the classic SUDHAUS COMBI-CODE 1422 model with two combination locks (set to 000). TSA-approved lock not included.
(For travel where you do not enter or exit the US, a non-TSA combination lock offers greater security. The TSA master key's CAD data has been leaked online, and TSA master keys are even sold on major e-commerce sites, allowing for one-step unlocking by anyone.)

As this pilot case has been discontinued, it is rare, and it will become increasingly difficult to obtain this model in the future.
It is perfect not only as a business tool but also as a tool carrier for engineers and technicians.
