Hitachi F-646 Vacuum Tube Radio Retro Showa Appliance Antique ma178B2

This is a Hitachi vacuum tube radio, model F-646.
It's an antique home appliance with the charm of Showa-era retro design.

It was found during a cleanup at my parents' home. I have not tested it for power or operation.
I have intentionally not powered it on, as I've heard that retro appliances can short-circuit if there's dust inside when powered on. This item is for those who can clean and repair it internally.
Therefore, it is being sold as a junk item (as-is).

The exterior has scratches, dirt, and discoloration consistent with its age.
The back panel has tears and deterioration, but I have intentionally left it as is.
The interior also shows dust and age-related deterioration (please refer to the photos).
The power cord is a fabric-wrapped type, believed to be from the original era.

Recommended for repair projects, parts harvesting, or display purposes.
