Junk item/Reason for discount: BOSE CD Radio Cassette Recorder AW-1D

This is a 90s BOSE CD radio cassette recorder, model AW-1D. I have confirmed its condition immediately before listing. Details are as follows:

● Radio: Both FM and AM can be received without any problems. The antenna is not broken, bent, or rusted.
● Cassette: All operations such as playback, fast forward, rewind, auto-reverse, and recording work without issues.
● CD: While some CDs can be played without problems, the operation is unstable with other CDs, taking time to start playback or skipping at the beginning of songs. Please consider it as generally non-operational.

Regarding the sound, I have confirmed that it is currently outputting from both left and right speakers without any issues. AUX can also be used without problems.

As for the exterior, there are minor scratches, but as shown in the images, there are no critically severe scratches or dirt. Considering its age, I believe it is in relatively clean condition. However, there is a slight gap at the seam between the front panel and the top surface (see image 3). Since it was never taken outdoors, there are no scratches on the bottom or back.

The items included in the shipment are only the main unit and the power cable.

The above is the current condition. While I cannot definitively guarantee it, there are companies that specialize in repairing AW-1 and AW1-D (you can find them by searching online), so repair may be possible.

It should work without any particular problems for simply listening to the radio or cassettes, but I am listing it at a low price with the understanding that it is as-is and for repair purposes. Therefore, please no claims or returns.

I will pack it with great care for shipping, but recently, due to the increase in package volume, shipping companies' handling has become rough. I have experienced several damage incidents in past transactions, which is troubling. Therefore, if possible, direct pickup in the western part of Tokyo's 23 wards would be ideal (a 1000 yen cashback will be provided for direct pickup).

I will answer any questions to the best of my ability within the scope of my knowledge, so please feel free to ask.
