The power turns on, and when no cassette is inserted, playback, fast forward, and rewind appear to function.
However, the right spindle for rotating the tape has a spring that has popped out. The spring and the rubber that secures it seem to be tangled.
Additionally, the knob for raising and lowering the 3-track fader is missing.
The cassette lid closes, but it floats slightly.
No other checks have been performed.
Therefore, this item is being listed as junk.
