Serviced and fully functional Sony TCM-F48 ultra-compact monaural radio cassette recorder

Overview: This is a cassette recorder that omits one amplifier and speaker from the TCM-48, and includes a radio instead. It is convenient for recording radio broadcasts and transcribing them.

Features:
- Wide FM compatible AM/FM radio. Please note that since analog broadcasting has already ended, you will only hear static if you tune into TV. When listening to FM, please set it to FM/TV and extend the rod antenna.
- Sound quality selection switch. When switched to Conversation, the treble is cut for tape writing. Please use it for music under normal circumstances. This switch is also effective when listening to the radio.
- Continuously variable playback speed adjustment
- Tape counter
- External microphone jack
- Cue & Review
- External power terminal (3V, EIAJ #1)

Repair Details: Please refer to images 5, 6, and 7.

Notes:
- Although the battery level indicator in image 1 appears orange, it actually lights up red, similar to battery level 2.
- It is likely that the two power smoothing capacitors on the main board have been replaced by others, but the replacement of the power smoothing capacitor on the tuner board is likely done only by us. We will ignore discount requests unless a competitor offers a similar model with equivalent maintenance at a lower price. If it does not sell, we will gradually lower the price, with a minimum of 4700 yen.
- Some users occasionally confuse this unit with a Walkman, but this is a monaural tape recorder. Any single-earphone (2-pole, 3-pole, or 4-pole) will play normally when connected, but if headphones or double-ear earphones are connected, the right side will not play. If you wish to listen with both ears, please use a 2-pole male to 3-pole female conversion adapter. (This unit is a monaural cassette recorder, so it will not produce stereo sound.)
- The pause switch, which was difficult to see in image 3 due to lighting, is shown in image 4.
- This sale is for the main unit only. Please prepare recording tapes and two AA batteries separately.
- There are quite a few scratches. Please refer to image 4.

Packaging and Shipping: Approximately 250g, over 3cm thick. For purchases of 5200 yen or more, we will ship via YuYu Mercari Plus (generally uses real names for shipping). For purchases below that price, we will ship via standard non-registered mail.
