Description
This is the KT-PS14 model, a cassette player released by Toshiba to compete with Sony's Walkman, part of the Walky series.
This particular model emphasizes its graphic equalizer (glyco) and auto-reverse functions.
The cylindrical, chrome-plated buttons give it a very retro feel, and I believe its design surpasses that of the Walkman.
The belt has been replaced, and the auto-reverse mechanism has been improved with lubrication. The fast-forward, rewind, and equalizer functions have all been tested and confirmed to be working.
However, the play button has become stiff, and playback is no longer possible in its current state. It is likely that an internal component has either detached or become stuck.
