The largest size in the Amorphous Metal Core series, expanding your options!

Amorphous metal is a core for noise-prevention choke coils and is a very important component for removing harmful high-frequency noise in audio. Common mode choke coils do not affect audio signals at all and act as a large resistance only against high-frequency noise, preventing noise. Effective locations for improving sound quality are primarily line cables (interconnect cables) between audio equipment such as CD players and DAC output cords, speaker cables, and AC adapter DC output cords.

When choosing the size of the core, for line and speaker cables, it is appropriate if both positive and negative wires can pass through the center hole together without force. If the core is unnecessarily large, the noise prevention effect may actually decrease even if the core is large. When using it on the DC output side of an AC adapter, choose one where the center hole is slightly larger than the plug and can accommodate 1-2 turns of the DC output cord.
