This is an AKAI open reel tape deck, the 4000DS MK-II.

The exterior condition is excellent, and judging by the shine of the black panel and the condition of the controls, this unit has been carefully handled. It's a model that would also look great for collection purposes.

[Operation Check]
- Power confirmed
- Tape playback, fast forward, and rewind operations are OK
- Sound output confirmed on the left channel
- No sound output on the right channel, possibly due to poor contact

For the above reasons, this item is being sold as-is, not as a fully functional product.
It may be possible to improve the condition with simple maintenance, but this cannot be guaranteed.
