The MATADOR HYBRID CARBON is a new addition to the renowned MATADOR blade series. It is the blade used by top sponsored player Luka Mladenovic (Luxembourg, World Ranking 86 as of July 2024), specially developed for his playing style. It offers maximum speed in top-spin attacks and is surprisingly effective when using long-pips rubbers.

This OFF+ blade features a layer of Hybrid Aramid Carbon on the forehand side and a layer of Texalium positioned just beneath the outer layer on the backhand side.

The outer layer remains unchanged, still offering a fairly hard touch while providing excellent control.

The MATADOR HYBRID CARBON is a very fast and hard blade that offers a direct ball feel.

This allows for a very aggressive attacking game with inverted or offensive short-piped rubbers. Both low-speed loops and hard power top-spins can be easily generated. The Hybrid Aramid Carbon fiber material on the forehand side ensures maximum speed and spin, while the Texalium on the backhand side provides superior control.

Like all other blades in the MATADOR series, the new MATADOR HYBRID CARBON pairs very well with aggressive pimpled-out rubbers and frictionless anti-spin rubbers, producing sinking balls and excellent spin reversal, respectively.
