[Product Details]
This is a set of Hardball Judgement gear including:
Wilson mask, Sureplay protector, Sureplay leg guards, 2 counters, a brush, and a Boston bag to hold them all.
The protective gear set was used about once a month for 2 seasons, approximately 15 times! The elastic is not stretched much and can still be used!
The cushioning on the back of the mask has some peeling on the surface. There are scratches on the indicator, etc.
I heard that coating the rivets on the back of the protector and leg guards with clear adhesive is a good idea, so I did it myself, but the finish is not neat (I coated them after some rust had appeared).
One of the two connection points on the right shoulder part of the protector has come off. It has been reattached and reinforced with adhesive (Photo 9). There are no issues with use.
The protector and leg guards feel lightweight, but they were perfectly fine for junior high school hardball baseball. I asked someone from Judgement who is familiar with Koshien baseball, and they said some people use them for high school baseball as well. I would be hesitant to use them for categories above that.
I washed them with water and air-dried them in the shade about once every two months. There is no odor whatsoever.
There may be scratches that I have overlooked, but the item is sold as-is. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive and cannot accept that this is a used item.
