This is Furniture Made from Cedar, published by Graphicsha, a renowned book that revives the legendary DIY book Kasei no Kosaku for modern times.
After purchasing, I only flipped through it once and have kept it carefully in a dark place.
There are no creases on the spine from opening the pages wide, and no writing or stains whatsoever.
The included order form (slip) and obi are also present, making the condition almost like new.
[Book Contents]
This book comprehensively covers how to make 24 simple and functional pieces of furniture that maximize the characteristics of Japanese cedar.
The step-by-step explanations with photos are extremely detailed (see image 4), allowing even beginners to challenge themselves in making authentic chairs, tables, and storage shelves. It's a highly valuable resource that teaches everything from woodworking basics to design concepts.
