Mettler Toledo's LabX Balance software is a laboratory software platform primarily used in conjunction with their high-precision balances (especially the Excellence series such as XPR, MX, etc.). Step-by-step user guidance: SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are displayed on the balance's touch screen, allowing weighing tasks to be started with a single touch. Clear on-screen instructions guide operation, making training easier and significantly reducing human error.
Complete automatic data saving and central management: All weighing results, metadata (process information), and calculation results are automatically saved to a central database (Microsoft SQL-based). Manual transcription is eliminated, preventing transcription errors. Up to approximately 60 METTLER TOLEDO instruments can be centrally managed over a network.
Automatic calculations and advanced application support: Built-in templates for differential weighing, dynamic weighing, intermittent weighing, summation, density determination, and more. Complex calculations are performed automatically, and results are processed instantly. Customization is also easy.
Data integrity and compliance support: Features automatic audit trail recording, electronic signatures, user management, and access control, supporting regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11. Reliability is ensured through calibration/adjustment schedulers, history management for the MinWeigh function, and instrument lock functions (restricting other operations if calibration is not performed).
Efficiency and automation: The task queue (job queue) management allows for sequential processing of multiple weighing tasks. Seamless integration with external systems such as LIMS, ELN, and CDS is also possible (via plugins or connectors).
