Rare Zebra Helios-44 58mm f2 Swirly Bokeh 1

Thank you for your patience. We are pleased to offer the Helios-44, famous for its swirly bokeh, which we have finally managed to acquire again. This is a rare, early model with a zebra pattern.

This is one of the vintage lenses whose rarity and value have increased in recent years due to growing demand.

It has an M39 mount, but can be used with an M42 adapter by attaching an M39 to M42 conversion ring. The conversion ring is included. Please note that this is not a Leica L mount (l39).

When connected to an M42 mount via the conversion ring, the position of the lens dial may be slightly misaligned. This does not affect the image quality in any way, but we are mentioning it just in case some users are particularly sensitive.

Front and rear caps are also included.

The front cap will be either the clip-on type shown in the image or a slip-on type.

The body has some scuffs, but we believe it is in good condition for an old Russian lens.

Due to the lens's construction, dust can easily get inside, and a small amount of dust may be visible. However, it is minor and does not affect image quality.

There may be slight, fine wiping marks on the lens surface, characteristic of Helios lenses, but these are minor and do not affect image quality.

The aperture ring and focus ring both operate normally.

As a side note, if you do not already have an adapter, we recommend purchasing one from K&F Concept. Cheaper adapters available for under 1000 yen may lack precision, so it is safer to purchase a well-made one. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. We will answer to the best of our ability.

We also have other rare Soviet-era lenses listed and plan to add more, so please take a look.
