The Cherry Reed Conditioner ♭Furatto Moderato is an essential whetstone for adjusting the back surface of reeds used for instruments such as clarinets, saxophones, oboes, and bassoons. While reeds may appear beautiful and symmetrical at first glance, they often have uneven surfaces or varying thicknesses. Previously, players had no choice but to accept this as bad luck. This project began with a simple question during reed selection: Isn't there something easy for beginners to use? The Cherry Reed Conditioner ♭Furatto aims to flatten the unevenness on the back of the reed, potentially making reeds that were previously unplayable or discarded usable again. The developer, a clarinetist themselves, conducted extensive testing, experimenting with size and coarseness. By increasing the number of usable reeds, this whetstone is something everyone should own in this new era of eco-consciousness. Its comfortable size fits well in the hand and can be stored in instrument cases or accessory pouches. Having more usable reeds means more time to enjoy music. Encountering ♭Furatto will surely enrich your musical life. Bringing a new breeze of music from Nara to you.
