The feel of blowing and drawing is greatly affected by the reed height (lift). It's also fun to set the reed height to match the feel that suits you.
As the seller, I make custom harmonicas in Gunma, and I use this tool every day.
At first glance, it looks like a simple pair of tweezers, but one side has been processed to be very thin so it can slide under the reed. The knob part allows you to rest the reed on it, making it useful for stable reed adjustment.
