I am listing this item on behalf of a family member.
They purchased it at Daimaru over 50 years ago.
The price at the time was 12,000 yen, which was a considerable amount back then, considering that ice cream and other treats cost only 5 or 10 yen. Therefore, this hat was likely a high-quality item for its time.

Due to a busy work schedule, they never had the opportunity to wear it and kept it carefully stored.

This is a new, unused item with the tags still attached.
However, while it has been carefully stored, it has been kept for over 50 years. Although it appears clean, please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection.
Upon visual inspection, I noticed a slight, faint orange discoloration on the ribbon in some areas.
Otherwise, it appears to be in good condition.

This is an unused hat from that era, which is difficult to find nowadays, making it quite rare.
