This is a 2-3 cup rice cooker in the Glazed Round design. No heat adjustment is necessary; for 3 cups, it cooks in about 15 minutes over medium-high heat (excluding soaking time before cooking and steaming time after cooking).
Additionally, as pottery is made from natural materials like clay and minerals, there may be slight individual differences in color and texture between products. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Pinholes, iron powder, scratches, and scuffs are created during the pottery production process. We ask for your understanding.

Earthenware pots have low thermal conductivity, so it takes time for the inside to heat up, naturally creating a slow simmer state. As it heats slowly, the starch in the rice turns into sugar, bringing out its sweetness. Earthenware pots have high heat retention, so once they boil, they continue to boil for a long time, naturally creating a rolling boil state. This creates vigorous convection, preventing uneven cooking. During the steaming process, heat gradually penetrates the rice, allowing excess moisture to evaporate, resulting in fluffy grains of rice.

■Pre-use treatment:
Fill the earthenware pot with water to about 80% full and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to low heat, dissolve flour in water, and stir well. Simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat, then turn off the heat and let it cool completely. After cooling, wash thoroughly, dry completely, and then use.
