Storm Glass Cloud (Oval Stand) Liquid Weather Forecaster Interior Ornament
10.00 $
Description
This is a Storm Glass Cloud (Oval Stand).
You can enjoy watching the liquid inside the container change depending on the weather conditions, and it's also perfect as an interior decoration.
Storm glasses were tools used in 19th-century Europe to predict the weather during voyages. A mixture of camphor, ethanol, potassium nitrate, and ammonium chloride was placed in a transparent glass container, and the weather was predicted by observing the crystals that formed. The charm of storm glasses lies in the beauty of the crystals created by the mixture.
I displayed it as an interior decoration in my entryway for about 4 months, but I no longer use it, so I am now listing it for sale.
There are no instructions or box (only the main unit).
While there is some age-related deterioration, the condition is generally good.
Please check the photos to confirm and make your decision. We ask that only those who understand this purchase it.
