You can place the lid on the pan even with the detachable multi-handle attached.

To minimize thickness for shipping, the knob will be removed.
The item will be wrapped in corrugated cardboard and then placed in a bag for packaging.

The lid has been used infrequently and shows no significant scratches, but there are minor scratches consistent with use.
