This is a used 6-drawer chest/dresser from Hokkaido Mingei Furniture.

Hokkaido Mingei Furniture is a masterpiece created with the spirit of beauty in utility from the Japan Folk Crafts Movement, carefully selected high-quality Hokkaido birch solid wood, and meticulously crafted by artisans. After merging with the Osaka-based furniture brand Kuraray International in 1977, production and sales by Kuraray International ceased in 2009. Since then, Hida Sangyo, a Gifu-based furniture brand, has inherited the Hokkaido Mingei Furniture brand and manufacturing facilities.

It has been lightly cleaned, but it is a long-used item. There are scratches and dirt that cannot be removed due to use.
